Listening to Kevin Swanson talk about this conference I'm reminded
of Jerome's famous lamentation in response to the sacking of Rome by the
Visigoths in 410. Jerome like many Evangelicals had confused the Sacralist
State with the light of the world and the inheritance of God and like many
American Evangelicals he couldn't imagine a Church without the Sacralist state
attached to it and protecting it.
This appeal to religious liberty is little more than a facade
to try and scare and energize the Evangelical electorate into taking political action.
It's a call to legislation, litigation and enforcement.
This election is the one. We hear it every time. This is the
important one, the most important in your lifetime. We're at a turning point
etc...
Your Sacralist project is at a turning point. The Church does
not stand or fall depending on who sits on the throne of Rome-Babylon.
Put no confidence in princes nor for help on man depend.
Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee are not going to help the Church.
They will only sow further confusion with regard to the Kingdom and its
mission. They will give the enemies of Christ occasion to blaspheme and will
continue to lead God's people astray into idolatry and false hope... a bestial
kingdom, an empire that is like all others, built on theft and murder, greed
and bombs.
Sign up and give them your money and you can go and hear the
lies of frauds like Jay Sekulow, Kevin Swanson, and Ted Cruz's father... Or
maybe you can get a bogus history lesson from Christian celebrity Kirk Cameron,
who rather than be ashamed of his past has sought to exploit it.
And while you're at it, you can listen to military figures
beat the war drum, because the Church needs America's bombs to defend it. We
can hear lies about the insurance and medical industries, and listen to legal stratagems
from Theonomist lawyers and hear about how grand it is to make a fortune
through bottom feeding in the real estate market.
The whole crew of propagandists, Scripture twisting liars
from Christian Radio will be there too along with numerous Theonomist theologians,
and a host of 'Christian' politicians.
Hurry and sign up before it's too late. Because once America
is gone, the light of the world will be extinguished. I guess you must feel
that way if you've confused America with the Kingdom of God.
The Theonomic Postmillennial deceiver himself polluted my inbox with the following:
ReplyDeleteGreetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose Kingdom shall have no end, and whose church shall remain victorious against the gates of hell!
As a pastor in the OPC, I am contacting you concerning a matter of vital and mutual concern across Christian denominations in the United States (and all Western countries). The conditions under which the Christian church has organized and functioned in this country for centuries are changing; particularly following the Obergefell decision of June 26, 2015.
Sexual license has trumped religious liberties at the highest Court in the land. Chief Justice John Roberts reminds us that this decision leaves “no comfort” for religious peoples. Associate Justice Samuel Alito warned that the ruling would be used to “vilify” Christians, and “stamp out every vestige of dissent.” Well-known Christian evangelist, Franklin Graham also responded with, “The storm is upon us. Christians must be prepared for persecution.”
Our churches and church members will be increasingly facing assaults on their liberties. These attacks will undoubtedly include Christian schools, Christian employees, teachers, pastors, landlords, pastors, and families.
Thus, we thought it an important enough topic to gather Christians together for a National Religious Liberties Conference in Des Moines, Iowa on November 6th and 7th, 2015 for several reasons:
1. To assert the importance of religious liberties before our national civil leaders just prior to the 2016 elections. This is in keeping with the Apostle Paul’s example in Acts 16:35ff with the city rulers in Philippi.
2. To equip God’s people with needful information on religious liberty issues according to their various walks of life. We have selected 3-4 of the eminent Christian legal defense organizations (and leaders) to help us in this regard.
3. To encourage and build the faith of God’s people, especially those who are being persecuted right now. Naghmeh Abedini (Pastor Saeed Abedini’s wife) has agreed to visit the conference and share the testimony of persecution in Iran, and her campaign with the United States Government to relieve the persecution.
4. To enjoy fellowship with brothers and sisters from around the country who are facing similar challenges as ourselves.
We are planning a church track and Pastor’s panel, as well as presentations on Christians in the military as chaplains or service personnel. Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Douglas Lee (PCA) will speak on the battle for religious freedom in the military.
The conference will also include an educational, historical track examining the struggle for religious liberty and political freedoms over the centuries in the Western world (since the Magna Carta 800 years).
Please consider attending the conference, and forwarding this information to others within your church fellowship. We have reduced the cost of the conference to a minimal amount, until July 31st. But if cost is prohibitive, do feel free to e-mail us and we will find some way to accommodate you (as a church leader).
Please click here for the conference website.
We are also open to your inputs and suggestions, as we prepare for this conference. Do not hesitate to e-mail me at swanson.1@opc.org.

I responded with:
'theonomic' idolatry, a rejection of Christ's Holy Kingdom. The very thing we are warned about in Revelation is the Harlot-Babylon you would build. You build the tombs of the prophets and yet it is you who would have been the Crusader and Inquisitor of the past, persecutor and enemy of the true Gospel Church.
And they're not just theological frauds. They really are a bunch of dirty and corrupt dogs. This is Pat Robertson's ACLJ legacy... theft. Wolves, they make merchandise of God's people.
