The Ethics of Millionaire Status

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/jun/24/cory-doctorow-on-elon-musk-ai-bubble-bosses-cruel-fantasies

This AI-related article is mildly interesting but also dubious at points. In addition to other issues, it touches on the growing concern surrounding the AI-bubble. Regardless of what AI does or fails to do, this hype alone and the potential for a burst and the economic fallout that results is becoming a substantial story on its own merits.

It caught my eye because the author (Tom Hervey) was critical of Larry Ball, a Theonomist writer I have countered on many an occasion. Happy to see someone answering him, I was nevertheless mostly disappointed in Hervey's response.

The Witherspoon-Princeton Controversy

https://www.christianpost.com/voices/should-john-witherspoons-statue-remain-at-princeton.html

The Capitalist decadence masquerading as Cultural Revolution is now targeting the statue of John Witherspoon at Princeton University. Witherspoon was a pivotal figure in the school's history and is considered one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. As a slaveholder, the activists of the hour want his statue (or monument) removed and his legacy tarred.
