And a follow-up:
I've had these links in my backlog for a few months now. The
stories appeared on the same day. The combined reporting could be described as
both lies and attacking liars – covering up and exposing at the same time. It's
enough to make your head spin.
On the one hand, NPR is defending the ridiculous narrative
about Jeffrey Epstein's death. The anomalies are just too much and given the
way Epstein's larger role and political profile have been covered up – it's
hardly shocking that his death is also a cover-up. He had to die. This is
certain. The holes in the official story are glaring and so when Establishment outlets
like NPR push this line and then go on the attack – yes, people become
sceptical of the mainstream media, and rightly so.
The Right has picked up on this as evidenced by the
proliferation of alternate media outlets – once the province of the Left. And
yet, their narratives have gone off the rails and they've fallen into the same
patterns of self-serving spin, and cover-up. D'Souza continues to play an important
if utterly deceptive role in this process. A scam artist in every way – from
his scholarship to his personal life, the man is an utter fraud. And yet, he
tickles ears and as such remains quite popular.
In his case, he concocts conspiracies that do not exist, nor
can they exist within any coherent framework. His assumptions are wrong and
often ignorant and as such the edifice he builds is a house of cards. His
analysis is reckless, hypocritical, and ridiculous. One would think his track
record of falsehoods, false predictions, criminality, and personal immorality
would discredit him but no, he's a star – and a teflon one at that it would
seem.
And yet in his election claims, D'Souza may have reached a
little too far. His wild and unfounded accusations have opened him up to
lawsuits. His critics didn't have to shut him down – his publisher and media
allies did in order to protect themselves. It demonstrates how flawed and
baseless his claims are. No one wants to risk having to defend these
accusations in court – because they know that they won't stand. D'Souza is revealed
as a clown, a person who cannot be taken seriously. He plays to an audience
that has money, and he makes money for his backers who use him and find him
convenient – but that doesn't mean that he's credible or possesses any
integrity.
And on that note, serious Christians need to reconsider their
use and reliance on the Salem media empire and the farce that is SRN news.
It's right to question the media, but to careen from spin and
obfuscation to outright mendacity and buffoonery isn't just foolish – it's
tragic. The answer to mainstream media's propaganda and cover-up campaigns
cannot be a turn to the likes of D'Souza, John Birch (JBS), and other Alex
Jones-type figures.
There's plenty to be suspicious of and many secrets and obfuscations, but in the end some of the exposé agents are revealed as little more than charlatans on a grand scale – every bit as deceptive and immoral as the Establishment media figures they're critical of.
