When Criminal Trespass is Legal

https://www.maritime-executive.com/article/greenpeace-protesters-cleared-of-charges-for-blockading-russian-ship

This story from back in January never gained any traction. It was but one of many of a similar type that seems omnipresent within the news but never subject to analysis or question.

Clearly the illegal conduct is being ignored because the Greenpeace protestors directed their ire toward Moscow. The judge gave them a pass.

I wonder what the response would have been if it was a US ship during the Iraq War? What about a British ship?

The invasion of Iraq which was every bit as illegal and aggressive as what Russia has done to Ukraine has been receiving a lot of coverage as it's the 20 year anniversary and yet in every case the magnitude of its brutality and the criminal nature of the invasion are downplayed and explained away.

The judge in this case pretends to be making a moral stand but he's a hypocrite in service to a system of lies – every bit as sinister and murderous as the regime of Vladimir Putin. This judge makes a mockery of justice and if the British state had any integrity it would remove him for politicising the bench.

But it's far more likely that he'll be tapped for higher office.
