Berlusconi Scandals That Won't Go Away

This death may or may not be connected to Berlusconi. She may have been murdered or it may be something else.
But that's not why it's getting all the headlines.

Berlusconi is making a serious bid to re-enter the top tier of Italian politics, either personally or through proxies and he has many enemies. His past is sordid, full of corruption and dark deeds and it wouldn't be too hard to dredge up old stories or reveal new ones.
Of course his tact with regard to criticising the current coalition leaves something to be desired.
Was Fadil getting ready to talk? That's what everyone is going to wonder. What would she have revealed? And thus why was she silenced?
If Berlusconi had her killed, it must have been something grandiose because he had to know that her death would raise questions and turn the spotlight back onto him and his collaborators.
The investigation announcement certainly ruined Berlusconi's day but he had to know it was coming... whether he had anything to do with it or not.
Of course the BBC made sure to add that the poison may have been radioactive which will make everyone think of Moscow.
But it shouldn't. The media has downplayed the fact that the Israelis have been accused of using Polonium and other similar poisons. Am I suggesting the Israelis are involved in the death of Fadil? Not necessarily but there are layers to these scandals and Tel Aviv may have an interest.
The M5S/Lega coalition has already angered Washington and the recent talk concerning a trade deal with China will only exacerbate the tensions.
The point in all this is that Italian politics are heating up and there's a behind the scenes game afoot.... and one that may be turning deadly.
Solo in Italia.... the country continues to fascinate.
