War and the Authoritarian Clampdown in Russia

People seem shocked that Vladimir Putin is making aggressive moves to silence dissent and punish social nonconformity. They shouldn't be and I'm not just saying that because it's Vladimir Putin. All states, whether already authoritarian-leaning entities such as Russia and China or even so-called liberal democracies like the United States, resort to some form of internal clampdown whenever the war machine is running under full steam.

Palantir Goes Mainstream

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/sep/25/palantir-valuation-shares-new-york-stock-exchange-debut

Palantir, the Orwellian data-analytic company founded by the apostate sodomite Peter Thiel continues to flourish and has expanded its footprint during the Trump era – and it's time to cash in and get plugged into the mainstream.

Tech Resistance in the Face of Orwellian Surveillance

One might say it's a case of fighting technology with technology or perhaps one could view it as a type of counter espionage. While most of the public willingly surrenders their information to the state and/or the corporate entities which exist in a symbiotic relationship with it – some of us are more than a little concerned.

Frontline's In the Age of AI

I recently watched the PBS Frontline documentary on AI or Artificial Intelligence. I recommend it but with qualification. It was both interesting and disturbing but it was also misleading. There were some interesting discussions to be sure. From the future of jobs to some rather questionable uses in medicine to social media and surveillance, the documentary raises numerous salient questions.

Wal-Mart and Facial Recognition

Recently while out with family members I found myself once again in the great temple of consumption also known as Wal-Mart. As indicated in previous writings I find a particular fascination with what's happening up at the check-out area and while standing there and observing, I noticed large CCTV monitors taking in the transaction area as well as the areas in which people queue up or stand in line.

Capitalism, Privacy and Medical Records

I agree with Ron Paul that a universal medical ID is a bad idea and potentially spells trouble. And yet the question of medical records has been an ongoing problem and all acknowledge the current system slows down the health care process and increases costs.

Palantir: The Electric Eye in the Skynet

The apostate and sodomite Peter Thiel has big plans for the future. He wants to be part of the state surveillance apparatus which in the end will spy on all of us. At this point it's clear Thiel has Deep State connections. Just how embedded he is within the larger machine and circles of power is anyone's guess.

Data Collection, The Watchtower and the Judiciary

The Jehovah's Witnesses are breaking the law. They're keeping data files on the houses they visit. They must be stopped.
There are many Christians and non-Christians that would agree with these statements and yet there's an inconsistent bias at work.

Palantir and Cambridge Analytica

Why anyone would believe anything said by the people associated with Palantir is beyond me. This nefarious company (headed by billionaire apostate turned sodomite Peter Thiel) is essentially on record as having no regard for the law, Constitutional, Parliamentary, Common or otherwise. A roguish organisation connected to the Deep State, Palantir represents a means of manipulation and control through intelligence gathering and algorithmic prediction.

Indian Biometrics and the Privatisation of Government Data Collection

New Delhi insists biometric data is fully safe and secure. Why should the people trust this is the case? If hackers were able to break into the UID system with such ease or an insider was able to sell the data undetected, either way it has been made clear the government has no real operational system control let alone security.

Microsoft, Ireland and the EU

Europe is socialist. Socialism means the government regulates and controls everything.
That's what I was taught growing up. These messages came not only from the public education system but from within my own Right-wing home.
Of course I later came to question this and understand that it's not that simple. Socialism can mean regulation and control and certainly does when it comes to certain aspects of business and society.

The Intercept: The Good, Bad and Ugly

It's hard to deny The Intercept is an exciting online magazine. Launched in 2014, it came on the scene in the wake of the Snowden revelations. Laura Poitras, Glenn Greenwald and Jeremy Scahill were the big names associated with its launch. Poitras has since departed to focus on her film-making.
Since its start the magazine has put together an impressive team of journalists and they literally churn out articles and analysis. The website has become a wealth of information and due to their high-profile in the alternative media world they are getting a lot of tips and leaks which facilitate their reporting.

Privatised Sociological and Census Data

Lockheed Martin epitomises the Military-Industrial Complex and the Corporate Establishment. These articles are several years old but the issue keeps coming to the surface. It's been on my mind over the past few days so I dug up these links.

Why is a company like Lockheed Martin getting involved in the UK and Canadian census? Why is the biggest government contractor in the United States and one of the wealthiest and most powerful corporations in the world collecting census data on citizens in other countries?
