Unanswered and vexing questions concerning Angola and Africa at large...

What does the 21st century hold for post-colonial nations like Angola? The end of colonialism created a host of new African nations but also unleashed a new round of bloodshed and exploitation.

Colonialism divided peoples and as the Imperial powers left, dangerous and often meaningless lines were drawn on the map. Cronies and puppets were installed and Imperial power was exercised through corporations and proxies in the Cold War.

Will the collapsing demographics of Europe and crushing debt lead to a new form of colonialism... a wave of European settlement? What will this do for Africa?

The 21st Century could be a time of great progress and wealth for the people of Africa. The resources are there, but will they once again fall prey to Capitalism...the economic system of the Empires? Will they fall prey to a new Cold War between a United States desperate to hold on to world domination and a rising and resource hungry China?

What will happen to the unparalleled nature and wildlife?

Just when it seems like stability is possible, there's a new rush, a coup, a new dynamic that unleashes the dogs of war. African geo-politics often function like lines on a piece of graph paper. Everything runs together. Move one line and all the others are affected.

And most importantly...how will Christianity play out in this dynamic setting? Will we see more cannibal Christian militiamen? Charismatic fraudsters? American backed Theocrats? Will Africa be the face of Christianity by century's end? And what will that look like?

Pray for the wonderful endearing and generous people of Africa. And pray for the monsters who unleash the forces of Hell on that wondrous land. All they need is a generation of peace and that continent come become a breadbasket for the world, a protected paradise and home to people who somehow despite the machetes, the mercenaries, the corporations and the dictators seem to find unbounded joy.
