But this statement conveyed exactly what I was thinking and feeling during that moment....

I pasted the words here. I couldn't find a Google-blogger link.
Obama’s use of a brain-wounded US army ranger as a prop, with all the vampire generals and their enablers cheering him to the rooftops, before they returned him to the warehouse. How many Afghan brains he blew out, on vampire orders, before defending soldiers set off their mine, we were not told.
It was sickening but also moving. I felt bad for the guy but it was also Orwellian, a sickening display of statist worship. He 'has' to be a hero. He 'must' be. The moral alternative is unthinkable. Because if he's not, then he's murderer and his injuries were either for nothing or justly deserved.
Of course they were for nothing. America is leaving. It doesn't matter if they do it now or in 2024. The Afghans like the Vietnamese will not quit.
If you were to make a list of the 10 unconquerable countries in the world. The one's that will never quit fighting....Afghanistan and Vietnam would have to be in the top 5.
Of course we're not permitted to think about those whom he harmed in Afghanistan. I can assure you, they had nothing to do with 9/11 and they never were any threat to the United States.
It's 2050 in Beijing. Picture the scene. Lt. Cho Xiping stands up, his body wounded almost destroyed from his actions in the American Pacific Northwest. The Chinese in order to defend their country from US/Taiwan missile strikes went after the military bases where the missiles were being manufactured. Thousands of American civilians died and the Chinese were known to have wiped out entire villages, tortured and used chemical weapons. Nevertheless this brave Chinese hero has defended the homeland from the evil American aggressor.
The whole Chinese assembly stands and applauds for over two minutes.
Of course every American would find this display to be revolting, disgusting and morally obscene.
You're not allowed to think that way or in those terms.
America is good, God is with America...not 'them', not the other.
It's a totally Sacral/Pagan outlook. I expect it from Babylonians, Greeks and Romans.... not Christians who belong to the Kingdom that is not of this world.
I didn't have the stomach to even watch the spectacle. However I was watching Fox News the next day, and of course, the vultures were descending. I'm constantly shocked at completely idiotic the commentary is.
ReplyDeleteThere were segments on loop about some loose-lipped comment from Obama about the relative safety of pot use. Ok, so the president said this. He's not the legislature, so he can't do anything anyway (theoretically), and he's a lawyer and a politician, not a chemist or physician, so what does he know?
Yet the commentators poured over this. The Presidential Office has taken on a sacred place, and so no unclean mortal may sit on such a throne. And also he's a Lawgiver and Priest to boot. Wow!
So I watch the commentary on the State of the Union, equally bankrupt. You get a discussion on Obama's military strategy, where some retired capt. on payroll lambasts Obama. We can't leave only 3,000 soldiers, says he, it will get overrun and make all the sacrifices null. We need 10,000 and another 10 year mandate. I'm just waiting for a discussion how Afghanistan should be a territory in order to honor the troops.
