Hardly wishing to sound like an apologist for North Korea,
what gives Panama the right to stop this ship? It is well known the Panamanian
government is a puppet to American interests. Reagan for all intents and
purposes undid Carter's Canal negotiations and GHW Bush killed thousands there
to insure American hegemony.
If Egypt under Morsi seized a Bahraini or Qatari ship
bearing weapons en route to a NATO country would that be okay? I think not.
Is it just might makes right? Is that the rule on the high
seas?
Everyone wants to see the Kim Dynasty fall...I refuse to say
Communist. This has just provided them with more propaganda and if the forced
landing of Morales plane wasn't enough, this is yet another episode of Imperial
muscle-flexing. Anyone can take the moral high ground when comparing themselves
to someone worse but it doesn't mean they're somehow good or right.
