CRH and Schumer: A window into the Military Industrial Complex at work

Just because a Senator has the label of Democrat attached to his name it doesn't mean that he's not part of the Imperial project or that he's somehow out to undermine and destroy the country.

The Democrats may wish to tweak the system a different direction, but they've still signed on to the system

The CRH Project exemplifies. This refers to the new Combat Rescue Helicopter project commissioned by the US Air Force.

Senator Chuck Schumer of New York is one who is pushing for this programme to be funded. Why? Because we need yet another helicopter?

Hardly. He's trying to land several hundred jobs in Owego NY which will be involved in building the new Sikorsky aircraft. I haven't looked into the parts network. I wouldn't be surprised if that's spread out over multiple states. That's usually done by design to insure political and public support for the project.

This is how the system works and one of the reasons why the United States (like Assyria of old) is dominated by its military establishment. Of course it could be argued the military establishment while a power-entity in and of itself is in reality a servant to larger corporate masters.

In reality I think you'll find in most cases they are one and the same.

I feel sorry for those who think they are fighting 'to defend our freedom'. They're fighting to line the pockets of some very wealthy people and little more.

Remember when bullets are fired, missiles and launched, helicopters are shot down and bases are built--- these folks make a lot of money.

Nevertheless this demonstrates that at the end of the day Schumer isn't an ideologue. He's a politician. Pardon my crudity but he's a type of whore. He provides services for money and like a pimp he guards his neighbourhood and makes sure no one can encroach on his territory.

Any liberals who think this man serves the public interest need to think again. He's not exposing the problem it is people like him that are the problem. These issues transcend the parties. It has nothing to do with Right v. Left.
