This represents quite a shift from SBC Christian lobbyist
Russell Moore. I recall quite clearly his sharp disagreement with Stanley
Hauerwas on the Albert Mohler Program back in 2003. Moore was promoting a
specifically Christian view of Patriotism and all but demanding for a synthesis
of American Patriotism with Christian worship.
Maybe he's changed his tune. I hope so, but the fact that he
retains his present employment makes me have my doubts.
