The Counterfeit Zion Academy

https://www.patriotacademy.com/the-patriot-experience/

I am sorry to report that I have found this filth being promoted on Christian websites. If you click the 'about us' tab you'll find they believe they're promoting a Biblical Worldview.

Apparently a Biblical Worldview includes lots of guns, learning how to live out and apply the Constitution - which would imply that if this is part of a Biblical Worldview, then the Constitution is part of the Bible or at least on par with it. Capitalism is of course a major concern in the New Testament - or so we're told. And, Paul was actually teaching a social contract or 'consent of the governed' view of Christian interaction with government in Romans 13. And so if the government isn't what we like or think is right, then we are to ignore Romans 12, take up arms and kill those who oppose us.

This is nothing less than satanic and thus I was hardly surprised to find sponsors like David Barton's Wall builders and Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA associated with it.

If you're part of a church promoting this filth then you need to leave. It's not a church and the leaders are false prophets. It's that simple. They're not building the Kingdom, they are working to erect a counterfeit version of it. They are not promoting a Biblical worldview but are subverting the doctrines of Scripture.

They would glory in America? They glory in their shame. The nation was never Christian and in fact was founded on anti-Christian principles. It was born in blood, rebellion, and witchcraft - quite literally if you incorporate the masonic elements which drove the Founders' vision.

The Founders Bible they promote is a perversion of Scripture - an abomination. They promote myths like Kirk Cameron's absurd interpretation of the National Monument to the Forefathers - a master class in bogus historiography and mythologizing. And as expected, they make merchandise of God's people by selling all manner of trinkets and other garbage. But of course with capitalism's utilitarian ethics - if there's a market, then it's moral.

These people are idolators and like all idolators their consciences are seared and they are being handed over. Their judgment is clouded. They are deceiving and being deceived. They are dangerous, blaspheming, and demonic. They are every bit as lost as those who attend churches that deny Scripture and embrace inclusivism. Both are forms of false Christianity. I see no point in mincing words.

Why do I publish these sorts of pieces? Because almost every day I discover or stumble upon some new area where the enemy is at work. I want people to understand the magnitude of what is happening in the Church. In Ephesians we are exhorted to redeem the time for the days are evil. That's always been the case and will be in this present evil age. It's easy enough to see the evil out in the world but Christ in Matthew 24 and elsewhere tells us (in effect) not to worry about that. It's to be expected. What we need to watch for is the evil in the Church as this age will be characterized by those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. Peter likewise warns that just as there were false prophets in the Old Testament, our age will be plagued by the same. They are everywhere and attacking from multiple angles. Some are easily detected. Others due to years of conditioning are less likely to detect them. These 'patriot' people are (I think) obvious deceivers but sometimes it takes the package deal (as they say) as so clearly demonstrated on this horrid website to feel the weight of their error and the level of danger and falsehood they represent. And for every one of these sites or organisations that you find - there are easily a dozen more.

Obviously obsessing about this stuff and letting it dominate all your time and thinking is unproductive and spiritually unhealthy - but so is ignoring it. Read the New Testament. Is the tone one of triumph and Pollyanna giddiness for this age? We have a blessed hope and through the Spirit we experience joy - even while this life is a struggle and filled with peril and opposition. For me the world is not a great burden. It is the state of the Church that grinds me down and crushes me on a daily basis. It is interacting with Christians and realizing that in the fog of screens, social media, pop culture, work and the like, they lack the basic Scriptural knowledge and discernment that would tell them immediately that something like the so-called Patriot Academy is not only something for Christians to avoid but something to reject with prejudice. Others might discern that this is a little 'over the top' and yet still embrace the fundamental doctrinal and ethical building blocks that ultimately lead to this. They agree in principle but are restrained by something like sanctified common sense. And yet we also see how these restraints and inhibitions are being progressively and even rapidly removed and what was once beyond the pale is now the possible and even the preferred. Make no mistake we're in a battle, a massive war, the war of the ages - but these folks have been misled and are fighting the wrong enemy. In fact they've been subverted into fighting for the Adversary.

Amidst the anger and revulsion I experience when encountering this I must confess there remains a strong component of tragedy and even pity at times. But for the grace of God go I. Given my upbringing it's easy enough for me to imagine myself in their shoes. I thank God that I was broken inside and in the crisis of that moment (by His grace) I turned to Scripture. Had I turned instead to teachers, there's no telling where I might have ended up.
